How to Change Your Password

Your password is the primary credential protecting your BitLease account. Change it periodically, and immediately if you suspect it may have been exposed.

Step-by-Step: Changing Your Password

  1. Open the Profile tab and tap User Center.

  2. Navigate to the security or account settings section.

  3. Select Change Password.

  4. Enter your current password.

  5. Enter your new password, then confirm it a second time.

  6. Submit the change.

Choosing a Strong Password

  • Use at least 12 characters

  • Combine uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols

  • Avoid reusing a password from another platform

  • Avoid personal information that could be guessed, such as names or birthdates

Important

After changing your password, you may be signed out of other active sessions for security. You will need to sign in again on any other devices.

If You Cannot Sign In

If you are signed out and cannot remember your current password, use the Forgot Password link on the sign-in screen rather than attempting repeated logins. This is covered in the Getting Started category.
