BitLease is committed to complete fee transparency. All fees applicable to LTO Contracts and Platform services are disclosed in this Fee Schedule, in the Contract Summary (Schedule A) provided before each LTO Contract execution, and in the Terms of Service.
BitLease does not charge hidden fees. No fee will be assessed unless it is explicitly outlined in this Schedule or your individual Contract Summary will be assessed to your account or contract. If BitLease introduces a new fee category, it will be added to this Schedule with at least thirty (30) days' prior notice and will not apply retroactively to active contracts without the Client's explicit consent.
You should never encounter a charge you were not told about before you committed to it. That principle governs every fee described in this document.
All fees are payable in stablecoins or LTO Token (the official utility token of the BitLease Platform), through the Client's Funding Wallet or LTO Wallet.
These are the fees that apply directly to your LTO Contract. Each one is disclosed in your Contract Summary before you execute the contract, so you see the full cost picture before you commit.
| Fee | Description | Amount | When Charged | Disclosed In |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Contract Origination Fee | One-time fee charged at the inception of each LTO Contract, covering contract setup, asset acquisition processing, escrow allocation, and compliance verification | 1.5% of the Contract Asset Value at execution | At contract execution | Contract Summary (Schedule A) |
| Finance Fee | The cost of BitLease financing is applied to each LTO Contract. Calculated as an effective monthly percentage of the Financed Amount, tiered by lease duration — longer lease terms yield a lower effective monthly rate. This fee is variable and subject to change by BitLease based on capital market conditions, with changes applicable to new contracts only. | Effective monthly rate tiered by duration: 5.0%/month (1-month) to 2.5%/month (12-month). Distributed across installments. | Distributed across installments | Contract Summary (Schedule A) |
| Insurance Fee | A fixed annual coverage fee is applied to the Financed Amount plus accrued Finance Fee. Allocated to HyperHedge to guarantee the return of principal and Finance Fee to the Lessor. Provides the Client with full default protection — no negative balance, no residual liability, and no further obligation upon contract termination. | 6% per annum of (Financed Amount + Finance Fee), charged monthly | Distributed across installments | Contract Summary (Schedule A) |
| Installment Processing Fee | Per-installment administrative fee covering payment processing, ledger maintenance, and statement generation | Free | With each installment payment | Contract Summary (Schedule A) |
| Buyout Execution Fee | Fee charged when the Client exercises the Buyout right, triggering an Exit Valuation Settlement (EVS) | Free | At Buyout execution | Contract Summary (Schedule A) |
| Execution Spread | Spread applied to the Platform Reference Price when an asset is liquidated upon contract termination or Buyout execution, reflecting real-market liquidation costs. Variable based on market conditions at the time of execution. | 0.5% – 1.5% of asset value at time of execution | At contract termination or Buyout execution | Contract Summary (Schedule A) |
| Late Payment Penalty | Daily penalty on overdue installment amounts, accruing from the first day after the missed due date | 10% of the overdue installment amount, per day | Daily, starting the day after the missed due date | Contract Summary (Schedule A) + Terms of Service |
The Finance Fee is an effective monthly rate, tiered by contract duration. The longer the lease term, the lower the effective monthly rate applied to the Financed Amount.
| Contract Duration | Effective Monthly Finance Fee Rate |
|---|---|
| 1 month | 5.0% / month |
| 3 months | ~4.0% / month (effective) |
| 6 months | ~3.2% / month (effective) |
| 9 months | ~2.8% / month (effective) |
| 12 months | 2.5% / month (effective) = 30% per annum |
Rates are indicative. Exact rates are disclosed in your Contract Summary at execution. BitLease may adjust Finance Fee rates for new contracts based on capital market conditions, with thirty (30) days' prior notice.
The Down Payment is the Client's initial contribution toward the Contract Asset Value, paid at execution. The remainder constitutes the Financed Amount.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum Down Payment | Set by HyperHedge based on asset, market conditions, and risk profile |
| Maximum Down Payment | Set by HyperHedge based on asset, market conditions, and risk profile |
| Client Choice | Within the HyperHedge-defined range, the Client selects their preferred Down Payment amount. |

The Client's Total Obligation is the aggregate outstanding amount owed to BitLease under an active LTO Contract at any given point in time:
>Total Obligation = Outstanding Financed Amount + Accrued Finance Fee + Accrued Insurance Fee
The Total Obligation decreases with each installment payment and reaches zero upon Full Settlement. It is the sole financial commitment of the Client under the LTO Contract. For a full definition of the Asset Commitment structure, refer to the BitLease Asset Commitment Framework.
The Platform Reference Price is the price at which BitLease executes asset acquisition, valuation, and liquidation on behalf of the Client. It is calculated as:
>Platform Reference Price = Live Market Price + Execution Spread
Live Market Price is sourced in real time from leading market data providers, including TradingView, CoinMarketCap, and Binance. The Execution Spread (0.5% – 1.5%) reflects real-market liquidation costs and is disclosed in the Contract Summary at execution.
The Exit Valuation Settlement is the mechanism by which a Client's LTO Contract is settled upon Buyout execution or contract termination. Under EVS:
Example: A Client acquires 1 BTC at $60,000 with a 15% Down Payment ($9,000). After paying only the Down Payment, the Total Obligation stands at approximately $54,000 (Financed Amount + fees). If the Client exercises Buyout when BTC is at $120,000, the full $120,000 value is recognized, the $54,000 Obligation is settled, and the Client receives the $66,000 Surplus. The appreciation on the entire asset — not just the paid portion — accrues to the Client.
Every LTO Contract is accompanied by a standardized Total Cost Disclosure in the Contract Summary (Schedule A), containing:
Illustrative only. Assumes SOL at $150, 12-month contract, 20% Down Payment.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Asset | 10 SOL |
| Platform Reference Price at execution | $150/SOL |
| Contract Asset Value | $1,500 |
| Down Payment (20%) | $300 |
| Financed Amount | $1,200 |
| Contract Duration | 12 months |
| Contract Origination Fee (1.5%) | $22.50 |
| Finance Fee (effective 2.5%/month over 12 months) | $360 (approx.) |
| Insurance Fee (6% p.a. of Financed Amount + Finance Fee) | ~$93.6 (approx.) |
| Installment Processing Fee | Free |
| Buyout Execution Fee | Free |
| Total Obligation at Inception | ~$1,676.1 |
| Effective Monthly Installment | ~$139.7/month |
Exact rates and Total Obligation are specified in your Contract Summary before execution.
| Item | Amount |
|---|---|
| Gross staking reward (monthly) | 0.05 SOL |
| Validator commission (10%) | -0.005 SOL |
| Net rewards received by BitLease | 0.045 SOL |
| Client receives (80%) | 0.036 SOL |
| BitLease brokerage (20%) | 0.009 SOL |
Staking rewards may be applied by the Client toward installment payments, reducing the Total Obligation.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Penalty rate | 10% of the overdue installment amount, per day |
| Accrual start | Day 1 after the missed due date |
| Termination threshold | Total overdue installments + accumulated penalties ≥ 2 full installment equivalents |
| Typical termination timeline | Approximately 10 days of complete non-payment |
The termination threshold is triggered when the sum of all overdue installments plus all accumulated penalties equals or exceeds the value of 2 full installments. BitLease sends reminders throughout the overdue period. The Client retains the right to cure at any point before termination is executed.
The Client may cure the default at any point before termination is finalized by paying all overdue installment(s) plus all accumulated penalties. Upon cure, the contract resumes normally.
Partial cure is available. If a Client reduces the accumulated penalty balance below the termination threshold, the termination clock resets, buying additional time. This mechanism ensures the Client always has a path to preserve their contract as long as termination has not been executed.
Assumes a monthly installment of $2,100. Penalty = 10% of $2,100 = $210/day.
| Day | Overdue Amount | Daily Penalty (10%) | Cumulative Penalty | Total Overdue + Penalty |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | $2,100 | $210 | $210 | $2,310 |
| Day 2 | $2,100 | $210 | $420 | $2,520 |
| Day 3 | $2,100 | $210 | $630 | $2,730 |
| Day 4 | $2,100 | $210 | $840 | $2,940 |
| Day 5 | $2,100 | $210 | $1,050 | $3,150 |
| Day 6 | $2,100 | $210 | $1,260 | $3,360 |
| Day 7 | $2,100 | $210 | $1,470 | $3,570 |
| Day 8 | $2,100 | $210 | $1,680 | $3,780 |
| Day 9 | $2,100 | $210 | $1,890 | $3,990 |
| Day 10 | $2,100 | $210 | $2,100 | $4,200 = 2 × $2,100 — TERMINATION TRIGGER |
Upon contract termination, an Exit Valuation Settlement (EVS) is executed.
| Scenario | Outcome |
|---|---|
| Asset value > Total Obligation + Penalties | Surplus returned to Client's Funding Wallet. |
| Asset value < Total Obligation + Penalties | No negative balance. No residual liability. Shortfall covered entirely by HyperHedge via the Insurance Fee mechanism. Client owes nothing further. |
Fees in your Contract Summary at execution are fixed for the duration of that contract. BitLease cannot unilaterally change them.
BitLease may update the Fee Schedule for new contracts at any time. You always see applicable fees before committing.
Changes to fees not tied to a specific contract (e.g., Funding Wallet withdrawal fees, Staking Brokerage Commission, LTO Token utility mechanisms, or applicable conversion terms) are communicated at least thirty (30) days before taking effect. They do not apply retroactively and do not affect rewards already earned but not yet distributed.
The Finance Fee rate is variable and subject to adjustment based on capital market conditions. Rate changes apply to new contracts only and are communicated with at least thirty (30) days' notice.
All fees in this Schedule are stated as gross amounts. BitLease does not add VAT, sales tax, or other transaction taxes to fees unless required by applicable law in a specific jurisdiction. If tax is required to be added, it will be disclosed separately.
You are solely responsible for all tax obligations arising from your use of the Platform, including:
The tax treatment of the Insurance Fee — including whether it may be deductible as a cost of acquisition or financing — varies by jurisdiction and individual circumstances. BitLease does not provide tax advice. Consult a qualified tax advisor.
BitLease does not withhold taxes on behalf of Clients unless required to do so by applicable law.
BitLease shall not be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from events outside its reasonable control, including but not limited to: blockchain network outages, validator failures, smart contract disruptions, exchange downtime, regulatory actions, or other force majeure events.
In the event of a network outage or platform disruption that prevents a Client from making an installment payment on its due date, BitLease will suspend late payment penalty accrual for the duration of the verified disruption. The Client must notify BitLease promptly. BitLease reserves the right to verify the nature and duration of any claimed disruption.
