Understanding the Own Tab and Use Tab: How the Platform Is Organized
BitLease organizes its four products into two tabs in the bottom navigation bar: Own and Use. The tab you choose determines which product you are working with and what the goal of your contract is.
This article explains what each tab contains, how they differ, and how to navigate between them.
The Own tab — for acquiring digital assets
The Own tab contains three products, all designed with one goal: you end up owning a digital asset at the end of the contract.
Inside the Own tab, you will see three sub-tabs at the top of the screen:

LTO — Lease to Own: A single-asset contract. You choose one digital asset, configure the down payment and schedule, and the asset transfers to you when you finish paying. This is the core BitLease product.
LTB — Lease to Bundle: A multi-asset contract. You build a bundle of two or more assets — choosing each one and setting its weight in the bundle — and own all of them upon contract completion.
LTE — Lease to Elect: A deferred choice contract. You set an investment amount, reserve two to four assets simultaneously, and during your election window you choose which single asset you want to keep. The others are settled by BitLease.
All three Own tab products share the same foundational structure: a down payment, no liquidation based on price, Economic Utility from day one, and formal ownership transfer upon completion.
The Use tab — for temporary access
The Use tab contains one product: LTU (Lease to Use). The goal here is different. You are not trying to own an asset at the end. You are accessing the economic performance of a digital asset for a defined period — called the Tenor — and settling at the end based on how the asset performed.
LTU is designed for users who want exposure to an asset's price movement without the commitment of a long-term ownership contract. You pay a single Origination Fee upfront, your position runs for the Tenor you set (from hours to months), and at Tenor end the contract settles automatically.
No ownership transfers at the end of an LTU contract. The product is designed for access, not acquisition.
How to navigate between them
Both tabs are always accessible from the bottom navigation bar. Tap Own or Use at any time to switch between the product areas.
The bottom navigation also includes:
Home — your overview and quick actions
Portfolio — all your positions and performance across products
Wallets — deposit, transfer, convert, and withdraw
Your active contracts in the Own tab are managed through the Owning section visible within the Own tab. Your active leases in the Use tab are displayed at the bottom of the LTU interface in the Leases section.
